What if, in truth, you are more intuitive than you think?
And by that, I mean someone who honors nature, someone who understands the rhythms of the earth, the moon, the universe — and embraces those cycles as part of daily life.
Today, under the glow of a full moon and total lunar eclipse — a blood moon — I can’t help but reflect on this idea. I remember the last blood moon earlier this year. Around that time, I felt the universe nudging me, guiding me into a deeper awareness. It’s happening again now. Lately, I’ve been listening more closely to my intuition. I’m observing my feelings, my emotions, the whys behind my reactions. I know I didn’t land here by accident — I was guided. But I’ll be honest, it hasn’t been easy. When weight creeps on, when perimenopause and hormones make you question who you even are anymore, it feels like fighting upstream. If in March (the 1st blood moon of 2025) was about endings, what can September be about? Beginnings!! Fighting only makes it harder. What if instead of resisting, we flowed with it? What if we allowed ourselves to cry when we needed to — not as weakness, but as release? Crying is how the body resets, physically and emotionally.
As women, we often carry more emotion, more intuition, more empathy. That’s not a flaw; it’s part of our design. We’re mothers, nurturers, creators of life. And men — at least the good ones — often ground us. In my case, my husband is that steady, tall tree in the storm. He bends with the winds but never breaks. He’s my calm in the chaos, my anchor in the waters of life, my biggest cheerleader. That balance — to my whirlwind, with his steady — is what makes us strong.
So what if we stopped fighting ourselves? What if, instead of beating ourselves up, we chose — daily — to move forward with compassion?
Change is never easy. The first steps always feel clumsy. But we get to choose every single morning: choose yourself. Even if it’s just 1% better today than yesterday. Even if it’s one small goal checked off the list. That’s enough. That’s how transformation builds.
And now, as autumn unfolds, nature itself is showing us the lesson: leaves falling, seasons turning, old versions of us shedding away. It’s time to let the outdated parts of ourselves fall, too.
Because a new version is waiting to grow. A version we can carry into 2026.
Thoughts to Think About:
- Where in your life are you fighting the current instead of flowing with it?
- What small, daily choice could you make today that’s just 1% better?
- What old version of yourself is ready to fall away this season?
